PT. Java Mete Indonesia is a cashew nut processing company which was founded by Mr. Toriqullie. The cashew nut processing was started by Mr. Toriqullie since 1972; soon later the company was established on September 27th, 1986.

Cashew nut, which in Latin known as ‘Anacardium Occidentale’, is manufactured in Semarang, the capital of Central Java, Indonesia. The processing facility is located in Jl. Raya Semarang – Demak, 23KM East of Semarang city with the size of 22.000m2. And the head office located at Jl. Sebandaran Timur 383, Semarang, Indonesia. The processing and handling system at the factory site has also been organically certified by Organic Certifier-USA.

PT. Java Mete Indonesia is formed to specifically handle its own cashew plantation which located in Bali, Indonesia alongside with the growers. The plantation spans over 500 hectares and has already been certified organic by Organic Certification Agency (OC), which compliant with the National Organic Program (NOP), in accordance with the United States Department of Agriculture standards (USDA). Raw sources, person in charge, high technology and quality control are applied with accordance of Organic standard.

The business scope of which PT. Java Mete Indonesia is based upon is the integration system from own plantation to processing the cashew nut products as a whole. Which the company does not only process cashew nut itself, but also its by-products.

By establish the joint venture company, PT. Java Tohoku Industries, through an exciting and highly technical process, JTI processes the cashew shell to produce cashew nut shell liquid (CNSL) a primary component utilized as an additive in a variety of friction industries.
Friction dust (FD) has a variety of uses but is most notably a key component used in the manufacture of brake linings and clutch facings. Without this component, the brakes and clutch on your automobile would be completely ineffective.
From Cashew shell waste through technical process and collaboration with P3GI , we can produce “Torganic” a Fertilizer and Bio pesticide both in one formula for sugar cane (and all plant which prone to root disease) as our by product.
